Capstone Outreach vs Queue: catch-up nudges or drafted check-ins
Queue is an iPhone and Mac app for people who are bad at keeping in touch: you choose a catch-up frequency for each person and it nudges you. Capstone Outreach is a $25/month personal CRM on web, iPhone and Android that drafts each check-in when it is due. Pick Queue if you want simple nudges and a Mac that logs catch-ups for you. Pick Capstone Outreach if you want the message written and sent from your own email or phone.

The differences that matter
A nudge vs a drafted message
Queue lets you choose a catch-up frequency for each person and nudges you when it has been a while, on birthdays and anniversaries, and when someone starts a new job. After each catch-up it prompts you to jot down notes and surfaces them next time. Capstone Outreach also runs on rhythms, from weekly to every three months, but when a check-in comes due it is drafted by AI from your history as an email, text or WhatsApp message, or set as a call reminder. You approve it, and emails go from your own Gmail or Outlook.
How each one knows you already talked
Queue counts meetings on Apple or Google Calendar with people in your queue as catch-ups automatically. Its Mac app detects emails, texts, calls and FaceTimes and logs catch-ups for you, analyzing the content on-device with summaries kept in your private iCloud. Capstone Outreach keeps one timeline per person with every email, text, call and meeting. If you have talked since, through a reply, call or meeting, the next check-in waits a full cycle instead of nudging you early. Private notes are never sent to the AI.
Platforms and where each product lives
Queue has an iPhone app and a macOS app, made by a single independent developer, Jeremy Lubin. Its queue.so domain currently shows a Namecheap parking page instead of a product site, so the details on this page come from its App Store listing. Capstone Outreach runs on the web, iPhone and Android with one account. It also adds an AI notetaker for Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex that drafts a follow-up per attendee, and lets Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP agent propose actions for you to approve.
Pricing
Queue's App Store listing says it charges a subscription and offers a free trial; the subscription price was not listed in what we checked on Oct 8, 2026. Capstone Outreach has one plan: $25/month on the web after a 14-day free trial that requires a payment method, or $24.99/month or $250/year on iPhone through the App Store, with Android billed through Google Play. A $9/month Global plan is offered in India, the Philippines, Malaysia, the UAE, South Africa and Nigeria. There is no free plan, and you can cancel anytime.
Switching to Capstone Outreach
To move to Capstone Outreach, import your phone address book, which skips duplicates, or upload a CSV file of your contacts. Meetings from Google Calendar, Outlook and Calendly become contacts, and you can import WhatsApp chats. Then give each person a keep-in-touch rhythm, from weekly to every three months, much like a catch-up frequency, and review the first drafted check-ins during the 14-day free trial.
Keep them warm without the busywork. Capstone Outreach is the personal CRM that writes your check-ins. Put each person on a rhythm (weekly to every three months), and when they're due, the next message is already written from your history with them. If you've talked since, it waits a full cycle. You approve every message, and it goes out from your own email or phone.

A study of 20 million LinkedIn members found that acquaintances, more than close friends, led to new jobs (Science, 2022). Capstone keeps those people warm. You approve every message, and it goes from your own email or phone.
Also on Android. Cancel anytime in the first 14 days and you pay nothing.
Frequently asked questions
